EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

STUDENT GOVERNMENT : Student government is organized and developed so that it not only provides services to the school, Church, and community, but also develops responsibility in the students and enables them to become more effective leaders in the democratic process and in a Christian society. Faculty members act as advisors to the board which consists of a commissioner general, assistant commissioner general, secretary, treasurer, publicity, religious activities, safety, ecology, spirit, assemblies and athletics.  The students' grades must reflect someone working to the best of his/her ability, nothing below a C, and conduct grades must average C. (see above)

DIOCESAN SPORTS : Parochial Athletic League (PAL) sports are open to both boys and girls in grades five through eight. These leagues are school sponsored, but are somewhat self-supporting. Students accepted on any team pay a school sports fee. Supervised practices are held after school hours. Although sports are school-sponsored, parents are expected to supervise and transport the students to and from the games. The student must maintain a C average on the quarterly report card to participate in sports.

CHOIR: Students in all grades are welcome to join the School of Our Lady Choir.  The Choir performs at local events, as well as at All Family Mass.  Our children sound like the angels from Heaven.

YEARBOOK:  Yearbook is open to students who maintain at least a C average in subjects and behavior.

OTHER EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES : Students have the opportunity to participate in altar serving, and other activities as scheduled. Participation in all extra- curricular activities is contingent upon maintaining a C average in subjects and a C in behavior.
